coiffeur sur le campus

vendredi 7 mars soir , on a rdv avec d'autres nouveaux embauchés pour prendre un restau sur la rue de l'université ( university way dixit), or on arrive à 9h qui est tard pour prendre un restau et on decouvre en fait que c est un bar, et qu il n y a personne...finalement on se rabbat sur un restau indien, où on en a eu pour son argent, après certain sont allé en boîte tandis que pour virginie, romain, carole et moi direction maison car demain on part pour l'Oregon. Mais là un point boulet pour Carole, elle a pas vu la sortie et s 'en apercçu que 16 sorties après...on était alors au casino d'Everett, donc ni une ni deux...nous avons visité le casino,...il faudra y revenir avec un peu d'argent...30 min de vistie puis retour maison en prenant en fin la bonne sortie....

MArch 7th, we got a meeting with the new employee of Labinal on the university way of seattle the plan is to eat at 9h in a restaurant, but when we arrive there we found out that it is not a restaurant but a pub.....so really hungry ,we looked for a restaurant if possible inexpensive.....and hop we found a indian restaurant, really good, and where we can qwench our hungry....after some of us go clubbing, while other come back home5 virginie , Romain , Carole and me° a hard day is coming tomorrow...
Carole make us a hoax, indeed she missed ...16 exit at the Highway...when we went out of the freeway , wewerenearby a casino, so we make the most of it, and decided to see it....after a tour of 30 min, we finally went back home..... by the right exit this time

il faut aller de là à là

Après un réveil rude à 6h30 du matin , nous partons vers les coups de 7h 30,c 'est facile la route est tout droite , l'Interstate 5 et c'est parti, l'autoroute, ets bien bien que vers Seattle la qualité est meilleur , sur les aires de repos, on peu avoir café, et biscuit gratuit, on peut donner une donation, ça ça ne pourrait pas réussir en France....en Arrivant sur Portland, on trouve un motel direct pour 17 dolalrd par personne, c'est un bon deal même il paraît louche et les gens sont bizarres...

after a tough wake up at 6h30, we set off aroundd 7h30, it straigh forward; we just have to follow the interstate 5 and we hit then Portland, On the rest area, wa can find free coffee, free cookies cake,but a donation is appreciated, it couldn't work out in France...
While arriving Portland, we find a motel for 17 bucks the night, pretty good deal even if the motel is really sketchy with odd people...

saturday market

ouvert depuis seulement une semaine, nous avons de la chance, le saturday maket qui accessoirement ouvre aussi le dimanche , est un marché où grand et petit s'émerveille, il y a groupe de musique, diseuse de bonne aventure, plein de stand pour manger,.....un bon moment pour battre au rythme de Portland...une bonne intronisation

open only for a week , it was a fluke, the saturday which also open on sunday.....is a market adult and kids enjoy strolling discussing etc....there is fortune teller; live band, bunch of stall where you can eat,...a good moment to beat at the rythm of Portland...

toujours les panneaux en chinois....

Juxtaposant , la vieille ville , nous avons le quartier chinois, ce quartier a l'air plus vigoureux que celui de Seattle" , les façades sont plus fraiches, etc....

just beside the old town, you can find chinatow, this district seems more living than the onein Seattle; the façades are fresher, etc....

pionneer court

on se dirige enfin vers le centre ville, et là on découvre une sorte de bal en plein  milieu de Portland, tout le monde danse avec des gens qu'ils ne connaissent pas, il n'y a pas de complexe, gros, petit , grand, maladroit , tout le monde danse, c'est vraiment bien, les gens de Portland sont vraiment ouvert, on voie souvent des gens qui parlent aux clochards, tout le monde se parle, c'est vraiment bien...

we are heading downtown; and there we discovered a kinda a ballin themiddle of Portland; everybody dance with people that they don't even know, there isn't any complexes, fat, little, tall, clumsy, everybody is dancing, the people of portland are really open-minded, we often see people talking with the tramp, every body is talking to each other it is very cool...
