On gare la voiture, chausse les chaussures de rando et on grimpe 5km pour arriver au sommet du plus haut point du parc. Le mont Washburn sert de point de surveillance pour les incendies. dans le chalet en haut, un pièce entièrement vitrée sert d'habitation au ranger en charge de la suveillance.

We parked the car, put on the hiking shoes and climb 5km up to the highest pick of the park. Mount Washburn is used fto detect and signal fire. At the top, there is a one room house entirely windowed were one ranger is living.

On fait un détour par l'Est pour observer des paysages vert tout en colline et en prairie avec des troupeaux de bisons à droite à gauche.

A short detour on the East side of the park to observe green lanscapes, hils and meadows where bisons herds enjoy the space.

Gardiner en fête

C'est un peu notre 14 juillet, mais 1à jours plus tôt! Le 4 juillet 1776 est le jour de la déclaration de l'indépendance par rapport au  royaume uni. C'est l'occasion d'une énorme fête populaire dans toutes les grandes villes. Manque de pot nous sommes dans un petit village ce jour là et du coup pas de grand feux d'artifices mais plutôt quelques uns par-ci par-là ressemblant à un pauvre condours entre voisins.

Today, the south loop of the Park is our objective. We start with, aritst paintpots, which is a group of erupting points w ith as a main point a boiling bath of white mud.

Second arrêt pour des geyser sà éruption alternative. On plonge son regard dans eau limpide et d'un bleu profond quand tout à coup, le geyser se réveille et crache d'immense gerbes d'eau.
