plage et space needle au fond

Profitant de nos 32° et d un ciel inespere nous profitons pour aller à la plage juste à cote de Seattle Alki beach, ici tout le monde fait son barbque, joue au frisbi, s envoit un ballon de football americain , joue au volley...mais personne se baigne..et oui elle est trop froide....et peut etre un peu degoutante

Making the most of the 32 ° and a extraordinary blue sky, we go to Alki beach that is just nearby downtown seattle.
Here everybody is haivng his own BBQ, paly frisby, play american football, paly volleyball, but nobody is swimming, all above because it is really cold and perhapsit has  a tad of nastiness

les motos

On se plante entre Olive way et la 4ème avenue sous le soleil de plomb. Aujourd'hui comme dans plusieurs villes aux USA, c'est la gay pride à Seattle. Ils ouvrent les festivités avec un défilé de motos chevauchées par des couple gais. Puis les différents protagonistes défilent chacun à leur manière.

We stand between Olive Way and the 4th under a killing sun. Today is the Gay pride parade in Seattle like in several other american cities. The show start with bikes rider gay couple or single. Then every participant cross the runway with his/her own style

La gay pride c'est quant même un long défilé donc certains évitent de faire ça a pieds et redouble d'originalité.

The parade is a long walk, so some of them avoid walking and are quite original to find their vehicule.

Les femmes et l'homosexualité

Les participants à l'évènement sont divisés en plusieurs catégories: ceux qui veulent s'exposer au public pour faire reconnaitre l'homosexualité (ce qui est censé être le message principal), ceux qui s'exhibent, ceux qui font leur pub comme au tour de France, ceux qui manifestent contre tout et n'importe quoi et ceux qui sont là juste pour se déguiser et faire la fête.

The characters have different  goals and expectations from the events: some want to fight for the gay community (which is the main message), some just like to show off, some are just here to advertise like for the tour de France, some demonstrate for whatever the reason and the rest of the crowd is just here to enjoy being costumed and partying.

Difficiles parmi les participants de savoir qui est vraiment homosexuel ou hétéros ou encore qui est une femme ou un homme...
